EHP has stopped taking submissions and may soon be shuttering. They not only published articles for free and made them freely available, they provided incredible editorial oversight during the submission process (sometimes to the chagrin of authors). Their detailed reading and line edits on papers improved submissions appreciably and was a tremendous service to the field, to junior and senior authors, and for readers. I hope this is temporary, but fear it is not.
